The Miniature Figure Collectors of America (MFCA) was founded in 1941. The MFCA holds monthly meetings and sponsors the oldest and largest show for historical, toy, and collectable figures in the United States.
Our members are interested in miniature figures of all sizes. But though there is an emphasis on figures depicting characters from history, especially military history, figures from fantasy, fiction, and legend are also represented.
The types of figures run from classic toy soldiers to exquisitely painted and sculpted connoisseur figures. Sizes range from an inch to about one foot.
Topics range from prehistoric beasts through ancient times of the Greeks and Romans, through the colorful middles ages, the Wars of Lace, the Napoleonic wars to the present day and beyond. The history of the United States is well represented with figures from the Civil War, the Revolution and modern wars.
