MFCA Club members meet on a regular basis, on the 1st Friday of every month at 7:30pm, on the second floor suite of the Artisans' Hall professional Building. It is located at 8100 Roosevelt Boulevard, in Northeast Philadelphia.

We bring along works in progress, new acquistions, books and articles, and just about anything of general interest to the hobby.

Everyone is welcome to join us!

The MFCA Show and Mart is one of the largest shows of its kind in the world. There is a large display area of miniature figures and models. Most of the figures are of connoisseur quality, miniature works of art in a variety of scales, from a few inches in height to almost a foot tall. Some are single figures on foot or horse and some are arranged as groups. Others are models of tanks, ships and planes in all the most common scales. There are even a few box dioramas, miniature stagings of historic scenes.

Artists come from all over the world to attend and display. Visitors from Canada, Great Britain, France, Spain and Italy are common. In recent years there have been hundreds of displays. The area is divided into sections, and awards in the form of certificates and medals are given for the best work. A list of awards is posted elsewhere.

There is a modest charge to enter the contest to defray some of the cost. There is a special area for those who want to display their work, but might be uncomfortable competing with the master artists of the world. Of course, the Grand Masters often display, but are only allowed to compete for Gold Medals.

If this were not enough, there is a giant sales area with nearly one hundred dealers on over two hundred tables selling everything for the hobbyist. Painted and unpainted figures from around the world are available, including those beautiful figures from Russia. New and old toy soldiers are present. Books for the lover of military history and tools for the modeler are to be found. Used and new figures and collections are available for sale by private collectors and large dealers.

For the first-time visitor, it is an awesome experience and for many collectors it is an event not to be missed.

The Miniature Figure Collectors of America will hold their 76th Annual Show and Mart on Saturday, April 29th, 2017, from 9AM to 3PM, with the awards ceremony at 5PM.

We are pleased and excited to announce that we are moving to a new venue, the Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast, 2400 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose PA.

For more information, please visit the hotel's website at: or call 215-638-8300.

Please note that for 2017, the show is one day only, because of our affiliation with and participation in the triennial World Expo, which will be held in Chicago in July.

We look forward to seeing all of our old friends again this year, and to make new ones.

Best regards,
The members of the MFCA

Many of you have asked how early we can get into the hall at the Radisson. We've confirmed with the hotel that we'll be able to access the hall at 6AM Saturday morning.

We're working with the hotel to get access the night before. Unfortunately, the hotel won't be able to confirm till closer to the show date, that the hall will not be booked the evening of the 28th. As soon as the hotel can say that it would be available, we will let you know as soon as possible.

We recognize that this is an inconvenience and apologize but we also thank everyone for your patience as we get established at this new location. We expect things to be easier next year, when we return to the two-day format.

There is still time to register to take tables, if you haven't yet decided, and so, the two associated forms can be accessed through the links found directly below.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the show!

Best regards,
Dennis Sosna and Brad James
